For the first time ever, Kollywood actor Dhanush will be seen in a double role. The politician Dhanush appears aggressive and stubborn while he is equally convincing as his submissive twin brother.

The movie is a treat for Dhanush's fans as his twin avatars appear to be both rustic and fearsome. The trailer has action, romance and family drama. In short, all the elements that cater to the taste of the Tamil audience. Kodi's two-minute trailer has been skilfully and creatively edited to make it look appealing to the masses.

The trailer also shows some romantic clips between Trisha and Dhanush and his dual role romancing with Malayalam Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran.

The trailer also shows the power struggle between Dhanush and Trisha. The conflict between them seems to stem from a political rivalry.

Overwhelmed by the positive response from members of the media and those who attended the event, Dhanush took to Twitter, saying. “Sincere thanks 2 all the press nd media who attended #kodi press meet. Had a beautiful positive session with reporters who knew me as a kid.”

Directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar, the movie is bankrolled by director Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company under Escape Artists Motion Pictures banner.
