Helmed by Sunhil Sippy, Noor will go on the floors in July. It is expected to be wrapped up by August this year. The movie is based on Pakistani scribe-writer Saba Imtiaz's 2014 novel, Karachi You're Killing Me.

The short video released by Sona shows the life of a girl named Noor Roy Chaudhary. The clip is about Noor's daily updates, which includes posting status messages and clicking selfies on social media every minute. The video ends with #iamNOOR.

This teaser also tells us a little about Sonakshi's character which is adorable, impulsive, impatient and confused. Living alone, Sona is portrayed as a free-minded person living her life sans any hesitations.

The video stops at a point when she writes a note ‘I hate my life’. Maybe that's the major twist of the movie.

Noor will be Sonakshi's first release next year after Akira and Force 2, slated for release this year. Recently she said yes to a project by Shah Rukh Khan's production house. She will be starring opposite Sidharth Malhotra, and the movie is a remake of Ittefaq. Also, Sonakshi will be seen in Namastey England romancing Akshay Kumar.

She wrote on Twitter, “She’s every girl. She’s #Noor #IAmNoor #Happy #GotMyGlowOn Here’s a peek. Presenting the #NoorFlash Hope u enjoy it.”
