Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is recently seen giving some life lessons to his fans and followers on social media. The Kick star has opened up on making mistakes, not owning them but recognising the importance of owning mistakes and not repeating them in an Instagram live session.

Salman had a heart-to-heart chat with veteran star Kabir Bedi, who recently launched his autobiography, Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor.

During an Instagram live chat, Salman spoke about owning his mistakes and saying sorry when he had realised his mistake. In the chat session, Kabir Bedi also shared about his journey.

Salman Khan added, saying, "That is the most difficult thing... to own the mistakes that one has done. Everyone denies that. I am one of those persons sitting right in front of you. I always said, 'yeh maine nahi kiya (I haven't done this)'. But if you have said that 'yes, I've made this mistake and I've tried to rectify it this way', that takes a lot of courage."

Talking about the value of honesty, Salman said, "When you write a book, the most courageous thing is to go look deep inside your soul. When you are writing, whether I should write this or not... And then you say, to hell with it, I am just going to be honest with myself and honest to everyone, and I am going to write the honest truth about what all has happened to me."

Salman was last seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which released on Zee 5. Directed by Prabhudeva, the film received a mixed response. The star has a few big projects in the pipeline like Tiger 3, Kick 2, Hindi remake of Tamil film Master, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Antim.
