However, in the middle of all that, Kavya's song for Unni Pranavam's upcoming movie Hadiyya is going viral. She sang the song just after she came from Dileep's US show where she showcased a power-packed performance.

The song is composed by Sharreth, and begins with the words "He Mathaveriyare..." and is unique in its composition and rendition. In an interview with Times Of India, Kavya said, "I am a big Sharathettan's fan and have often told him that I would like to sing a song composed by him. And finally, this happened. It is a beautiful song written by Murugan Kattakada, and I am sure everybody will like it."

According to Sharreth, "This song Mathaverikal Nerikedukal Mathamakumo which has lyrics that question religious conventions, politics casteism and riots in the name of religion, couldn't have had a better voice than Kavya's to bring up the emotions and depth. I wanted a voice which doesn't sound too feminine."

He added, "I had seen Kavya's poetry performances and found the right voice in her, just like I chose Remya Nambeesan to sing Andelonde."

Interestingly, Kavya just took two hours to sing the two-minute-long song. Director Unni Pranavam said Kavya's voice has brought out the right feel for the situation in the film.

Talking about the movie the director said, "The film is about love, life and religion and the family drama has got a double bounty by getting Kavya to sing one of its songs."

All the other song in the movie are sung by composers-musicians such as Hariharan, Bijibal, Gopi Sunder and M M Srilekha. Nishan and Amir Niyas does the lead while Leona Lishoy and Ragini Nandwani plays opposite.

The film is produced by Ayub Kecheri under the banner of Establishment Entertainment. The film will hit theatres on July 14.
