The pregnant diva took to the stage of the prestigious music awards and slayed it with her panache! In a highly anticipated performance, Beyonce took the stage at the 59th annual Grammys to unfold swaying renditions of Love Drought and Sandcastles, revealing her baby bump in public for the first time. 

 

 

Clad in a shimmering gold chain gown which features sheer detailing, Queen Bey stunned the crowd at the Staples Center.'

 

The 35-year-old star along with array of dancers and a live band offstage, performed gracefully through Love Drought from her album Lemonade, which has bagged nine nominations at the awards. However, she chose to sit down in a chair while belting "Sandcastles." 

 

The performance closed on an optimistic note, with the pop star reciting, "If we're going to heal, let it be glorious/ One thousand girls raise their arms." 

 

At the end of her nine-minute-long fiery performance, the star grinned and blew kisses to her rapper husband Jay Z and five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who were cheering her from the audience. 

 

 This is not the first time Beyonce has embraced her baby bump during an awards show. During the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, when she was pregnant with Blue Ivy and rubbed her baby belly while on stage performing "Love on Top". 

 

The best part was how Beyonce's 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy reacted to her mother’s performance on stage. Blue Ivy Carter and husband Jay Z, both were having the time of their lives! A video is circulating on social media where an ecstatic Jay Z and Blue Ivy were all smiles as Beyonce couldn’t help blushing. 

 

Beyonce recently broke the internet by announcing that she was expecting twins. 

 

The photograph of the songstress cradling her growing baby bump received 6.33 million likes in less than eight hours it was posted. 

 

 

 

With over 334,000 comments, Beyonce's picture beat Selena' Gomez's Instagram sponsored post that showed her sipping Coke in June last year had earned 6.3 million likes. 

 

Beyonce wrote, "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters." 

 

Within barely an hour of the photograph going online, it had garnered over 2.43 million likes and 166,000 comments.
