Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has sent shockwaves across the country and the film industry. Sushant (34) was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his Bandra home in Mumbai on Sunday (June 14).

Mumbai Police are investigating his death and considering various factors such as clinical depression, treatment and professional rivalry. They are also looking into the fact why he was banned from films.

As per a Mid-Day report, Sushant cleared all his debts and even paid his house help and manager before he took the drastic step to kill himself. The actor to say that he won't be able to afford them due to financial reasons. To which the actor's house help told him "Aapne humara humesha dhyaan rakha hai, aap aise mat boliye, humlog kuchh na kuchh kar lenge. (You have always taken care of us. Don't say such things. We will do something)."


A house help also told the police that the actor grieved that he won't be able to send kids to NASA. "He was very optimistic about his dream project. Sometimes he used to feel very sad that he won't be able to send kids to NASA," he reportedly said.

One of Sushant's managers told police that he cleared his dues three days before taking his own life.

A source told Mid-Day that Sushant Singh Rajput had been facing financial trouble because he had lost out on projects and didn't have many projects in the pipeline. "He was about to get a contract worth Rs 14 crore for a web series with the help of his former manager, Disha Salian, who also committed suicide, on June 8."

Police are still scanning journals that the actor wrote daily. They found various things but nothing that indicated at the possibility of him taking the extreme step yet.
