Suriya-Mohanlal's Kaappaan still a hit in theatres 25 days after release
Today marks the 25th day after the release Suriya-Mohanlal hit Kaappaan. The movie is directed by KV Anand, and features an ensemble of actors including Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and Boman Irani

Two days ago, Lyca Productions took to Twitter to share a picture of Suriya and the team celebrating the box office success of the film. According to the tweet, Kaappaan has raked in Rs 100 crore from across the world.Â

Kaappaan is directed by KV Anand, and the film features an ensemble of actors including Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Samuthirakani and Boman Irani. Sources say that Lyca has plans to produce one more film featuring Suriya.
On the first day of the movie, it gained a sum of Rs 11 crore at the box office.Â
The film that was made at a budget of Rs 75 crore, was released in 2,300 screens, which is the norm for a big Kollywood festival release.
