Sharing the box office numbers on X, Adarsh wrote, "'SPIDER-MAN' CREATES HISTORY - BLOCKBUSTER OPENING DAY - BIGGEST HOLLYWOOD OPENER EVER IN INDIA... #SpiderManBrandNewDay has rewritten the record books in India." He added that the film has gone past the opening-day collection of Avengers: Endgame, which had earned Rs 53.10 crore, making it the biggest Hollywood opener of all time in India. Adarsh also said that the film has become the biggest opening ever for the Spider-Man franchise in India and the biggest opener for Sony Pictures Entertainment in the country. Wide Release and Weekend Projections

He further shared that Spider-Man: Brand New Day was released on more than 5,000 screens across India, making it the widest release ever for a Hollywood film in the country. Looking ahead, Adarsh predicted a strong opening weekend for the superhero film. "#SpiderManBrandNewDay is expected to collect a phenomenal ₹ 210 cr [+/-] in its extended 4-day opening weekend, setting yet another benchmark for a non-Indian film," he wrote.
