Shruti Hassan's sudden weight gain has sparked some weird rumours

Shruti Haasan is known for her spunky, stunning and stylish looks and she has always stunned her fans with her performances on the silver screen. 

Earlier this year, miss Haasan grabbed headlines due to her alleged affair with her London based British boyfriend, Michael Corsale, who is also an actor and has come to visit Shruti many times in India. 

Both were seen hugging and spending quality time with each other in various public places. The actress also has shared many pictures of them on her Instagram page.

According to reports, Shruti has now stopped accepting film offers especially from down south. She was last seen in films like Katamarayudu in Tollywood, Behen Hogi Teri in Bollywood and  Singam 3 in Kollywood. She is now very choosy about her films, since last three years she did only one Telugu film per year.

Now it is heard that she is slowly wrapping all her pending projects one of that is Sabaash Naidu with her father, Kamal Haasan.

She is also putting on weight heavily. Recently, at the inauguration of an apparel store, the actress looks extremely elegant in an orange Anarkali suit. However, it was clearly visible that she has put loads of fat around her face. 

This is one of the reasons that rumours are popping about her quitting movies and tie the knot with her beau.

History has proven that many heroines have quit their successful film career suddenly after they get hitched and gain weight.

In an interview, Shruti commented that she's not worried about movie offers, and said that limiting herself only to an acting career is never an option as she is a musician, singer and a songwriter too. 

Those remarks are also giving rise to a suspicion that she might have quit acting.
