Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra sent to judicial custody for 14 days, actress to be interrogated again

FollowMumbai: Shilpa Shetty's husband, Raj Kundra, was reportedly sent to judicial custody for 14 days by Killa Court in a case involving alleged production and publication of porn films.
Kundra was arrested on July 19 by Mumbai Police's Crime Branch, stating that they have enough evidence against the businessman.Â
Kundra was produced before the magistrate court at the end of his police remand on Tuesday. He had moved to the court for bail, and his plea was kept for a hearing on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Bombay High Court has granted anticipatory bail to model actors Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra. The High Court will also hear Kundra's plea challenging his 'illegal arrest' and seeking quashing of the lower court's arrest.
Shilpa Shetty, who was said to be one of the board members of Viaan industries, was also interrogated by the Crime Branch. The actress has denied having any connection in producing and distributing adult films. She also stated while interrogation that her husband is innocent and the movies are not sexual, it is simply erotica.
Reportedly, Shilpa Shetty may be interrogated again by Mumbai Police.
After being grilled for six hours no less by the Mumbai Police, sources close to the case claim that Shilpa Shetty may soon be summoned for the second round of interrogation. The primary reason is what the cops seized from her and Raj Kundra's Juhu abode.
