
Sasi, who was seen in the Malayalam rom-com Chotta Mumbai as well, was recently in the news for her illness. However, one successful operation later, the actress is back and recovering. While she remains in the hospital, she thanked her fans and friends for their support during her surgery.
In a post on her Facebook page, she said "I want to thank everyone for your prayers and for your heartfelt kind thoughts through this difficult time.I survived surgery and discharged from the hospital, Thanks to all of you and the Lord's blessing.The large tumor was removed with success.I'm improving and doing all my routine myself.
Miracle do happen and angels are on this earth coz i have met some rite here on this site.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all,I could nt continue this battle without your support , your prayers made have made all difference.Believe in angels because they are here with us on earth. (sic)"
On August, 5, Sasi herself shared news about her tumour via a Facebook post.

According to a news report, the tumour was operated upon twice before as well. Sasi initially started having severe headaches while shooting for the serial Swathi in Hyderabad. She thought it was a migraine and was given pain killers for two months. However, she was diagnosed with a tumour in her head in 2012.
