'Seeta Aur Geeta' actor Gaurav Dixit arrested by NCB in Mumbai; read details
The NCB has arrested actor Gaurav Dixit from Mumbai after his name cropped up in the interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan.
FollowMumbai: In a shocking turn of events, television actor Gaurav Dixit has been arrested in connection with a drug angle case after his name cropped up in an interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan. The NCB was reportedly on the lookout for Dixit for the past few months. Dixit's home in Lokhandwala in Andheri was searched and at that time drugs were procured, the officials added.
A few months ago, NCB had raided Dixit's residence in Mumbai, after which the actor went missing. Sameer Wankhede, NCB's Zonal Director, stated Gaurav's alleged involvement in the drug case. Gaurav has been a part of films like Happy Bhag Jayegi, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, The Magic Of Cinema and has appeared in TV cinema-like Seeta Aur Geeta.
Ajaz Khan reportedly revealed Dixit's name and confessed that he uses it to purchase MDMA and other drugs from Dixit. It appears that Dixit supplies drugs in Bollywood. The NCB arrested Khan in March earlier this year. His name has been cropped up during the interrogation of arrested drug peddler Shadab Batata.
