Sandalwood drug case: High Court rejects bail plea of Ragini, Sanjjanaa
Sandalwood actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani’s bail plea along with four others accused has been rejected by the High Court.
Bengaluru: Sandalwood actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani will have to spend time in the Parappana Agrahara jail this Deepavali.
The two actresses’ and 4 other accused in the drug scandal had submitted their bail plea to the high court which has been rejected on Tuesday, November 3.
This has been the second time their bail pleas have been rejected as the NDPS court too had rejected the bail seeking custody for further investigation.
The families of Ragini and Sanjjanaa moved to the HC after the NDPS court denied their bail plea which has now been rejected.

Both Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani’s families were hoping that their daughters will get a bail soon and will be home at least for Deepavali.
The actress spent their Dasara too in jail. Despite being lodged at the Parappana Agrahara jail both got to have the Habbada Oota spread that included Obattu for lunch which they both reportedly ate along with the other prison inmates.
Ragini was arrested on September 4 after her house was raided. A long investigation at the Central Crime Branch (CCB) office was done with her for more than four hours.
On the other hand, Sanjjanaa was arrested four days later, on September 8 and just like Ragini’s case, there was a raid in her residence too and then she was arrested after an interrogation at the CCB office.
