Rajnikanth's Kabali takes to the skies

Rajinikanth can do anything with style, and the latest promotion of his movie Kabali seems to prove that. In a deal with AirAsia, the producers of the film have taken the promotion of Kabali to a different height - literally.
This is the first of its kind experiment for a movie promotion in India. Earlier, Hollywood had promoted the movie The Hobbit on the plane.
Thus, Rajini is all over AirAsia, and the flight will give you the Kabali effect, say AirAsia officials, who are the airline partners of the movie.
These promotions take a new light as the movie release continues to be delayed thanks to Rajnikanth's health. So such powerful promotion tactics are perhaps not surprising.
The Kabali themed flight will also take people to Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Goa, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag and Kochi, say sources.
Amar Abrol, CEO, AirAsia India spoke to PTI and said that “This special plane, powered by Thalaivar quite literally, is dedicated to Rajini fans across the globe.”
