At the party, Katrina was accompanied by director Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar. She wore a Manish Malhotra floor-length wine-red Anarkali.
Salman, who was expected to arrive with Lulia, was seen alone and expressed his surprise on seeing Katrina at the do.
The devious brain behind the 'Photoshop' job is Indonesian prankster Debri Riri, who is a big fan of Bollywood stars.
