Parava director Soubin Shahir is all set tie the knot?

Actor-director Soubin Shahir is grabbing the headlines as he is all sent to enter the wedlock with his long-time friend Jamia Zaheer. 

According to the Times Of India, the couple is all set to tie the knot in December. There was a rumour about the duo, stating that they are already married as a photo of the couple was going viral earlier this week. 

However, a close friend of Soubin Shahir, cleared the air, saying it was just a picture clicked during her birthday celebration.

In an interview of TOI, a source close to the actor said, "Jamia is a good friend and is not part of the film industry. The wedding will be next month, and we are all busy preparing for it." 

Soubin, who stepped into Malayalam film industry as an assistant director through the 2003 Mammootty-starrer Chronic Bachelor, directed by Siddique. He had subsequently proved his mettle as a character actor and as a comedian. 

Films like Premam, Annayum Rasoolum, Kammattipadam and Chandrettan Evideya had earned him critical acclaim for his acting skills. 

He has also worked as an associate of Faazil, Siddique, Rafi Mecartin, P. Sukumar, Rajiv Ravi, and Amal Neerad among others.
