Neena Gupta trolled for wearing shorts in front of lyricist Gulzar; here's how actress reacted
Here's how Neena Gupta reacted to facing backlash for wearing shorts during her visit to Gulzar's house; she called it, 'it’s plain rubbish'

National Film Award-winning actress recently gave a copy of her book to the veteran lyricist Gulzar Sahab. She had paid a visit to Gulzar’s residence to gift him her book. Neena went to his house wearing a printed co-ord set or a top and a pair of shorts.
She shared a video of her meeting with Gulzar, she wrote, "So happy and nervous ki unhen kaisi lagegi." Soon after, she was started getting trolled for her outfit choices while meeting Gulzar Sahab. One user wrote, “Gulzar sahab k pass aap gaye the wo time aapko saadi pehen kr jana chahiye tha...sorry....kyuki Gulzar sahab Gulzar sahab hai.” Another user wrote, “Age ke hisab se chalo madam."
In an interview with TOI, Neena opened up about getting trolled for her dress and answered with a befitting reply.
She said, "I fail to understand when anybody writes that I have been trolled for this. It's plain rubbish. What's the definition of 'trolling'? Doesn't it mean that several people are criticising you? Look at the amount of praises I've received. Should I really even bother about just 2 or 4 people?"
Neena also said she does not believe in giving such people any kind of importance. She said, "Why? Why should I give any importance to 2 to 4 people when they comprise of just a scanty per cent which is in contrast to those who've loved me for this?"
On the work front, Neena has started shooting her next with Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna. The actress posted a video of her from the sets of the film.
