Reportedly, director Ranjith has begun a script for Mohanlal's film. Initially, Ranjith had declared that his next project would be a Mammootty starrer. But that movie will only begin after Mammootty completes his committed projects, which include Karnan.
Rumours indicate that Ranjith is planning to rope in actress Manju Warrier to play the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the film.
Loham, the last movie of Mohanlal and Ranjith, ended up receiving mixed reviews. Therefore, the duo is said to be extremely careful, hoping to make their next outing perfect.
Ranjith had planned a multi-starrer film with stars like Mohanlal, Prithviraj, and Manju Warrier in the primary roles earlier but sadly the project was grounded in the initial stage.
Though, the agreement between Ranjith and Manju Warrier is still valid. Hence, chances of Manju's collaboration in the upcoming Mohanlal-Ranjith movie is quite high.
