Mohanlal first look: Manju Warrier has eyes only for Lalettan

Malayalam actress Manju Warrier has multiple projects in hand currently. The actress is working on Kamala Das’ biopic Aami and Mohanlal’s upcoming film Villain... and coincidentally she is also acting in a movie titled Mohanlal. The poster of Mohanlal seems whacky and promises to be a fun-filled entertainer.

Every Malayalam moviebuff will agree that the population in Kerala and all over the world is not divided based on caste, religion or political parties but by the fact that you are either a Mohanlal fan or Mammootty fan. 

In Mohanlal, Manju will be seen playing the role of a crazy Mohanlal fan. The poster of the film was released on 21 May on the occasion of Mohanlal's birthday. In the poster, she has a huge smile and is wearing aviators that feature a vintage Mohanlal. 

In another poster, Indrajith Sukumaran, who is the film's male lead, and is seen besotted with Manju, going by his shades. You will get to see superstar Mohanlal from the early 80s on Manju’s aviators, while we get a teenage Manju on Indrajith’s shades.

Manju's character will be called Meenukutty, and she has been paired opposite Indrajith. According to reports, Meenukutty is funny, bubbly and crazy. 

The film, directed by Sajid Yahya, is a fan’s tribute to Mohanlal and will also have Mollywood stars Soubin Shaheer and Aju Varghese playing prominent roles.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal has revealed the name of his next project, directed by Lal Jose, as 'Velipaadinte Pusthakam'.
