C/O Saira Banu: Manju Warrier brings Amala Akkineni back to Mollywood

The first look motion poster of the film has been unveiled on Tuesday, February 14. The movie is a women-centric emotional drama wherein Manju plays Saira Banu, a post woman. Amala Akkineni plays the role of a lawyer named Annie John Tharavadi.  
 

Kismath star Shane Nigam and Loham fame Niranjana Anoop also form the cast of the movie. The movie, which also features Ganesh Kumar, Jagadeesh, Joy Mathew, P Balachandran, Indrans, Sunil Sukhada, Kochupreman, Niranjana and Kanchana in significant roles.

Amala Akkineni was quite a popular actress in the early 1990s and late 1980s, and has  worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and even Bollywood films before she settled for a marriage with Telugu superstar Nagarjuna.
 

In her personal life, Amala is quite happy as she is all set to welcome actress Samantha into her family as her son Naga Chaitanya‘s wife and her daughter-in-law.
 

Meanwhile, Manju Warrier is enjoying her second innings with a few good movies in the kitty. Manju was last seen in the sports movie Karinkunnam 6S, is said to appear in a cameo role in Kalidas Jayaram's much-awaited movie Poomaram. Reports also suggest that she will make her debut in Tamil opposite Arvind Swami.

 
C/O Saira Banu is slated for 17 March release and is also said to deliver a strong social message required these days.
