Mammootty's Kasaba breaks Mohanlal's Puli Murugan record

The teaser has now crossed 5.9 lakh views. Mohanlal's Puli Murugan teaser had garnered 4.3 Lakhs views within the first 24 hours.
Mammootty's Kasaba was massively trolled on social networking sites since the release of its first-look poster. The movie stars Mammootty in the role of a circle inspector in charge of Palakkad Kasaba police station. The film marks the directorial debut of Nithin Renji Panicker, the son of Renji Panicker.
Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar makes her Mollywood debut as the leading lady of the film. The flick also stars popular actors Siddique, Jagadish, Sambath, Neha Saxena in supporting roles.
The Kasaba team hopes the first teaser will complete 10 lakh views within the first ten days of release. They are planning to release a few more teasers and also an official trailer for the movie.
