Suchitra Murali

 

Suchitra is a trained classical dancer who entered movies as a child artist in the year 1990 in the film No.20 Madras Mail. She has appeared mostly in Malayalam movies as well as a few films in Tamil and Telugu. Later,  Suchitra married Murali in 1999 and quit movies. She is now settled in the US with her husband and daughter. Suchitra has opened a dance school there called "Naatya Graha Dance Academy".

 

Saleema

 

Actress Saleema is the daughter of Tollywood actress Girija. She is a well-known dancer. Critics and the audience appreciated her role in her debut film Nakhakshathangal and Aranyakam. Saleema had acted in few Tamil, Kannada, Telugu movies as well. Mollywood movie Mahayanam was the last movie she acted in, back in 1989. 

 

Kanaka Mahalakshmi

 

Kanaka entered into the film industry through a blockbuster movie Karakattakaran released in 1989. She then acted in hit films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. She stopped acting in 2002. In 2013, it was rumoured that she died. But later she revealed that her father was the culprit behind the false news.

 

Unni Mary

 

 

Unni Mary acted in several Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. She was married to Rejoy in the year 1982 and left the film industry. Unni Mary is now an evangelist and never planning to come back to the film industry.
 

 

Girija Shettar

 

Actress Girija is also a well-known journalist, philosopher and dancer. Girija acted in very few movies, but her role in Vandanam with Mohanlal directed by Priyadarshan was renowned. Another movie Geethanjali was also a super hit. Currently, she is working with IHS Maritime in the United Kingdom

 

Manya

 

Manya was introduced to Malayalam films by director Lohithadas and acted in Joker opposite Dileep. Manya who is from Andhra Pradesh started her acting career in Tollywood. Manya quit working in the film industry in the year 2007, after her marriage with Satya Patel.

 

Madhavi

 

Madhavi acted in almost 300 regional movies. The actress then married to Ralph Sharma and quit acting in the year 1996. Later settled in New Jersey. The couple have three daughters out of which Evelyn Sharma is also a Bollywood actress and model.

 

Maathu

 

Maathu first acted as a child artist in a Kannada movie. Later, she acted in several films and was notable in 80’s and 90’s. She then was married to Dr.Jacob and quit movies. The couple separated after 13 years of marriage.
