Malayalam actor Neeraj Madhav got married to his long-term girlfriend Deepthi, a native of Karaparambu in Kozhikode, Kerala, on April 2.
The wedding was held at Sreekandapuram in Kannur. The engagement was on March 16. The photos of the wedding were shared by the actor on his Facebook page.
The couple wore simple traditional attire for the wedding coupled with minimum jewellery. The pictures are getting widely shared on social networking sites with hundreds of people pouring in their wishes for the newlyweds.
The rituals seem to be of a Brahmin wedding and the entire function was defined by simplicity. According to the pictures, the venue appears to be a pandal in the courtyard of an ancestral home.
The 27-year-old actor had announced his engagement to Deepthi on March 16. The reception will be held on April 4, evening.
Neeraj's first movie was Buddy, which was said to be inspired by Hollywood film Kids Are All Right. He had played one of the supporting cast in the film, which had Anoop Menon, Srikanth and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles. Neeraj then went on to act in many films including Memories, Drishyam, 1983, Apothecary and Sapthamashree Thaskaraha.
He is from Thiruvannur in Calicut and he shot to fame with his dancing skills. He came to the spotlight by participating in a popular reality TV dance show, where he was one of the finalists.
His upcoming projects include Mammootty’s Mamankam and Rosapoo.
