The actor Anil Varma and Raghava Uday jumped off a helicopter into the Tippagondanahalli reservoir, 35km west of Bengaluru, on Monday afternoon. The bodies of the two actors are yet to be found.Â
Â
Meanwhile, a huge crowd had gathered at the spot to witness the shooting. However, after the mishap even more people gathered at the spot to watch the rescue operations.Â
Â
Bangalore police had to resort to lathi charge to disperse the crowd.Â
Â
Both Vijay and Anil had openly expressed their fear of not being good swimmers. However, they were made to jump into the lake (30 to 60 feet deep) from a helicopter which was at the height of almost 100 feet. Technical glitches and negligence on the part of the filmmakers is what caused the ill fated accident.Â
