Katrina Kaif thinks Farhan Akhtar's Toofaan is releasing on a 'great date', here's why!

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar, recently took to his social media to announce the release date of his upcoming sports drama 'Toofaan'. The movie that was earlier supposed to release in May has now finally got a release date of July 16.

Many Bollywood celebrities joined the audiences and fans in excitement and their comments on Farhan's social media post are worth a read. Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and many others commented saying 'Can't wait' along with fire emojis.

The film got a new release date as earlier the nation was battling with the second wave of Covid and the team of Toofaan, it didn't feel right to showcase their film. Now, owing to the fighting spirit of the entire nation the lead actor announced the release date.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Farhan Akhtar, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and presented by Amazon Prime Video, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles.

Toofaan will stream on Amazon Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories starting July 16th, 2021.
