Superstar Rajinikanth’sKabali is the biggest release of Kollywood this year. It has become even more popular now after the trailer went crazy viral on YouTube. It has become the most watched Indian film trailer of all time.

The buzz is that the movie, slated to release worldwide on July 1, has now been pushed to July 15, though the exact reason for the delay is unknown.
Also, the much awaited audio launch, which was planned at the YMCA grounds in Chennai, has also been cancelled in favour of a small event, as the superstar won't be available in the country at the time. The music will now directly hit the stores on June 12.
A source from the film unit said “Rajinikanth sir is holidaying in the US, and he won’t be present in the country around the time of the launch. Hence, the makers decided to have a soft launch instead,”
Santosh Narayanan has composed the music for Kabali, which has been directed by Pa. Ranjith. The movie is based on a real-life don from Chennai, and he shapes Rajinikanth's character.
The movie also stars Radhika Apte, Kalaiarasan, Winston Chao, Dinesh, Dhansikaa and Ritwika. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.
