Here's why Ravi Teja skipped brother Bharath Raju's funeral

FollowTelugu movie star Ravi Teja finally broke his silence on why he skipped his brother Bharath Raju's funeral, who passed away last month in a car crash.
Last month, actor Bharath Raju died in a car crash in Hyderabad. The accident took place on Outer Ring Road near Kothwalguda in Shamshabad Mandal, when the 45-year-old rammed his red Skoda sedan into a parked lorry from behind.
Many reports stated that Ravi Teja did not attend Bharath's funeral at the Jubilee Hills, Mahaprasthanam. However, a Times of India report stated that the actor and the family were in a state of shock and therefore skipped the funeral. It was also said that the Bengal Tiger actor did not go to see Bharat’s body. Everything was done in haste from taking his body to the mortuary to getting an immediate cremation.
In an interview to a Telugu daily, Ravi has finally opened up on his brother's funeral. He said, "The entire Family was in a state of shock upon knowing about Bharath's demise. My father, who is 85-plus has a few health issues. He wasn't in a condition to attend the funeral, and our mother collapsed all of a sudden. We tried our best to console them."
Reports say that Bharath Raju's face was damaged during the accident. Ravi also said, "From the hospital, we were told that Bharath's face was in bad condition. We can't see Bharath like that and hence gave his last rites a miss. Don't know when my mother and father will be back to normalcy."
Earlier, some of the fans slammed the actor for skipping his brother's funeral, Ravi Teja said he was afraid of seeing Bharath's body. "I can't see people who weren't alive."
