FollowThere were reports of Priya Prakash Varrier starring in a Tamil movie and then in a Bollywood flick but all rumours died quite soon. The current news is that Priya Prakash has been convinced by the producers of Telugu film 'Ego' to act in the Telugu remake of 'Oru Adraar Love'.
Priya became an overnight sensation after the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from her debut movie Oru Adaar Love was released. Priya was then approached by many producers but nothing worked out.
However, there were also rumours that Priya Prakash was demanding as much as Rs 2 crore per movie, which led many producers to back out from casting her.
According to Gulte, Priya Prakash is said to have quoted the hefty package for the yet-to-be-titled Telugu remake of 'Oru Adaar Love'. As Priya essays the role of female lead, Ashish Raj, of Ego fame, will play the male lead.
There are talks that this role is close to Priya's heart and that she was offered a good package for the movie.
