The complaint was filed two months ago by the real estate firm Emgee Properties. The HC stated that the FIR had not disclosed any kind of misinterpretation in the ₹1.9 crore cheating case. 


Last month, the court had issued an interim order directing police not to take action against Sussanne. Sussanne’s lawyer had argued that a civil case was turned into a criminal case to malign his client. 


Sussanne was booked by Panaji police in the cheating case.
