According to reports, Solo is an anthology of five films, and the movie has Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan playing the lead in all the five.
The movie is a bilingual made in Malayalam and Tamil and will hit the screens in both the languages simultaneously. Bollywood actress Neha Sharma, who was last seen in a Hindi movie Tum Bin 2 is playing an important role in the movie.
Some interesting facts about Solo are that Nasser and Suhasini will be seen playing Dulquer’s parents in one of the segments and the star would be seen playing an army officer. DQ will be seen in different get-ups in this flick, and a few of his looks has gone viral.
The film has an ensemble cast including Dino Morea, Arthi Venkatesh, Sruthi Hariharan, Dhansika, Sai Tamhankar, Ann Augustine, Deepti Sati, Neha Sharma, Asha Jayaram, Sheelu Abraham, Anson Paul, Nassar, R. Parthiepan, John Vijay, Manoj K. Jayan, Prakash Belawadi, Suhasini, Qaushiq Mukherjee, Siddharth Menon, Govind Menon, Sathish, and Soubin Shahir.
Solo is produced jointly by the director along with Abraham Mathew under the banners Getaway Films and Abaam Films. Bejoy Nambiar has also penned the story, and Govind Menon and Siddharth Menon are the music composers. Sanu Varghese is cranking the camera.
Dulquer Salmaan's last release Comrade in America did well at the box office. The CIA star is also part of other massive projects like the bilingual biopic of veteran actor 'Savitri' titled 'Mahanati' featuring top actresses like Keerthy Suresh and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Solo will be his third outing in Tamil.
