Nayanthara ‘drives’ yet another horror flick alone. Dora is produced by Hitesh Jhabak in association with A Sarkunam and is expected to hit the screens soon. It also features Thambi Ramaiah and Harish Uthaman in significant roles.
Nayanthara‘s upcoming horror film Dora is finally out with its teaser today, and it’s caught our attention because somebody else, or rather something is sharing screen space with Nayanthara we are talking about a cursed car.
The teaser gives away the core storyline of the film. It’s about a haunted car driving around the streets all by itself on a mission to find Pavalakkodi (Nayanthara).
According to reports, the debutant director Doss Ramaswamy wrote the script for this film with a male protagonist in his mind. But, he changed the entire story to suit Nayanthara after the actress’s horror film Maya became a box office hit. The cinematography is extraordinary and sets the mood for a horror thriller.
Tamil film Maya, became one of the top-grossing films in 2015. The success of the movie gave the filmmakers the confidence that female-centric films are commercially viable.
