Dhanush's entry to Hollywood, but his father-in-law Rajinikanth did it 3 decades ago, guess the movie?

It may be good news for Dhanush's fans after the announcement of him being roped in to play a role in the Hollywood film on Netflix  'The Grey Man' but about 32 years ago, his father-in-law superstar Rajinikanth was already a part of an adventure Hollywood film.

The Tamil Industry and fans of Dhanush may be elated as he will be seen sharing screen space with Hollywood actors for his Hollywood flick 'The Grey Man', but his father-in-law who is seen as larger than life did this experiment 32 years ago itself.

Superstar Rajinikanth played a genuine taxi driver Shyam Sabu in the adventure flick 'Bloodstone' produced by Ashok Amritraj and Sunanda Murali Manohar and directed by Dwitte H Little.

The film revolves around a precious 12th-century ruby 'Bloodstone' with powers of good and also curse.

As a thief steals it back from Britishers and plans to sell it in the international market, realizing the investigating agency is behind him, the thief places the ruby into the baggage of an unsuspecting couple.

The taxi driver drops the couple at a hotel and while lifting the baggage the ruby falls into the car trunk.

The thief and his henchmen's chasing, ingfight with the tourist couple and also targeting the taxi driver Sabu is the central theme of the film and at the end, Sabu and the couple manage to escape the attack. Eventually, the police get the lost ruby and announce the reward which the three accept happily.
