Dabangg no more? Gang rape victim files ₹10 crore lawsuit against Salman

Salman Khan has landed himself in a legal soup, once again. The Hisar gangrape victim has slapped a ₹10 crore lawsuit against Salman for his insensitive comment on rape during a press conference. The victim sent a notice to Salman through Punjab and Haryana High Court advocate and has alleged that Salman's rape remark tarnished her image.
The victim further added that Salman's comments were more hurtful as she is still battling the mental torture and physical stress. The lawyer said in the notice, "By issuing this legal notice on behalf of my client, I demand a compensation of Rs 10 crore to my client within 15 days after the receipt of this notice, otherwise I have the instruction of my client to file civil and criminal cases against you for the aforesaid violation of civil and criminal law."
The woman was kidnapped and allegedly rape by 10 people in Hisar four years ago. Her father committed suicide following the incident.
