Bill Gates is an upcoming Kannada film, and Meghana has bagged the lead female role.
The model-turned-actress began her career as a full-fledged heroine through Life Super, which is yet to be released.
She is among the lucky few in the film industry who received a second offer before the release of her very first film.
Meghana has no filmy connections. She has completed BBM in Mangaluru and stepped into the world of modelling. She has walked on ramps in Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai.
“Vinod, the director of the movie, contacted me and told me the story. I was excited as I liked the story. So, my life has taken a turn from modelling to acting,” she says.
Mandya-based Srinivas and his friends have pooled in the money for the film.
The movie is the story of a simple person from a village, who aspires to be as successful as Bill Gates.
TV actor Shishira Shastry has been roped in to play the male lead. The movie also has another actress in a significant role – Roja.
