Watch Trailer: Annabelle, the possessed doll, now returns to haunt a group of orphan girls

The latest trailer of Annabelle: Creation goes back to the beginning and shows how the doll Annabelle was created and how the evil spirit entered the doll. Annabelle: Creation is the latest film in the Conjuring universe and a prequel to 2014's successful Annabelle. 

After giving us the scariest and the best horror movies in the form of Annabelle, The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, the filmmakers have come with yet another spine-chilling tale about the doll who started the series. 

Filmmakers James Wan and David F. Sandberg, who directed Lights Out returned with a spin-off of Annabelle, the demonic doll that creates wrecked havoc in many lives while she was on the loose.

The movie is the prequel of 2014’s successful Annabelle. In Annabelle, we saw a demonic doll, who makes people's life hell whoever comes in possession of it and those around them and later find it really hard to get rid of the cursed doll. In one of the movies the doll was exorcised and locked in a glass case in Ed and Lorraine Warren's house.

 

 

Annabelle: Creation tells the story of a doll-maker and his wife who lose their only daughter in an accident, and after the dead girl's spirit frequently contacts them, they let her possess a doll. 
However, things go awry and out of hands as they realise that the spirit was not their daughter's but the "devil."

 

The movie is set in the 1950s after losing their only daughter, the doll-maker and his wife sheltered a group of orphaned girls who are left homeless when their orphanage is closed down. Soon the evil force that possesses the doll is released, unleashing terror.

Annabelle: Creation will hit screens across the country on August 11, and clash with Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha at the box office.
