Brothers Prithviraj Sukumaran and Indrajith Sukamaran are coming together for Tiyaan, an intense socio-political drama. The trailer of Tiyaan has landed on the internet and is being widely appreciated by moviebuffs. 

Tiyaan is one of the highly anticipated films in Malayalam this year. Directed by debutant Jiyen Krishnakumar and produced by Haneef Mohammed, Tiyaan is expected to hit the screens during Eid. Gopi Sunder has scored the film's music.

2) Plot
A highly intellectual story with an engaging screenplay. Tiyaan is said to be a socio-political drama set in North India which is based on a struggle between good and evil, right and wrong. The story revolves around the land of Devanagari, where there is strife, deceit. 



3) Murali Gopy
Journalist-turned-actor Murali Gopy, who has also played a key role in the film, has penned down the film's screenplay. "I have always seen myself as an actors’ writer, for it is the actors who lend their brawn, brain and rooh to the people on my paper and make them mightier than my word. Long live actors! Long live their art!,” Gopy says.



4) Comeback of Padmapriya
Tiyaan also marks the comeback of Padmapriya in Malayalam. She will be playing the love interest of Murali Gopy’s character. 

5) Location and cinematography:
The majority of the shooting took place in Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. The film crew also shot some portions in other locations including Pune, Mumbai, and Nashik. The crew wrapped up the shoot in February. Cinematography for Tiyaan is by Satheesh Kurup and the visuals are top notch.



6) Star cast:
The film's cast also includes Shine Tom Chacko, Ranjeet, Amit Tiwari, Ravi Singh, Sudipto Balav,Suraj Venjaramoodu, Rahul Madhav, Prakash Bare, John Kokkan, Ananya, Mridula Sathe, Paris Laxmi and Manasa. Indrajith's daughter Nakshatra also makes her debut in the film.
