The movie is expected to be released in over 500 screens across the country, the highest number of screens for a Kannada film. The movie marks the debut of Amala Paul in Sandalwood. Telugu actor Kabir Duhan Singh will be seen in a negative role in the movie, which also features Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, Sampath Raj and others.

1) Kiccha Sudeep as para commando:
The highly anticipated Kannada movie Hebbuli will see Sudeep sporting a stylish hairdo, which went viral last year when the first look of the movie launched. A mix of a crew cut and a longish style, dressed in black combat gear, the superstar is holding a weapon aiming to shoot. For the first time, he is playing a para commando role; he was previously seen in the army, and police look.

 


 
2) Masthigudi victim ’s last movie:
Anil died while performing an action sequence when shooting for Mastigudi in Thippagondanahalli Reservoir, 35 km west of Bangalore. In Hebbuli, his last movie, he plays an antagonist.

 


 
3)  Sudeep and Ravichandran combo:
Crazy Star Ravichandran and Sudeep is a mindblowing combo in Kannada cinema. Their last movie Mankiya, wherein Ravichandran played Sudeep’s father, and the casting was a hit with audiences. Here, in Hebbuli we will be seeing Ravichandran playing Sudeep’s older brother.

The movie is said to be the biggest release for a Kannada film, looking at the hype the film has created. According to the music director, Arjun Janya, Hebbuli's music is meant to appeal to the masses. The movie has five songs and joining Rajesh and Vijay is singer Anuradha Bhat.  Bollywood singers - Siddarth Basrur, Arman Malik, Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal have rendered their voices for the album.

The script demands a picturesque locale. Therefore, the filmmakers chose Kashmir for their film. Last year during September, the team went to Kashmir Valley when it is more peaceful, post the surgical strike.

Hebbuli’s script is 100% original. The movie also has one of the biggest budgets for a Kannada film and is a joint venture between SRV Productions and Umapthy Films.
