Chennai: AGS production who has bankrolled then movie Bigil has partnered with Chennai City Football Club to organise a Football Knockout Tournament in Velachery, Chennai. Chennai City FC first posted the news along with the details of the football tournament.

The tournament comprises 64 teams and is scheduled to be held on October 19 and 20 from 10am to 4pm. The tournament will take place at TIKI-TAKA Velachery. 

Right now, the countdown has begun for Bigil. The film, directed by Atlee, is described to be a “sports action thriller.” Bigil is Vijay’s third collaboration with Atlee. The first two movies were Theri and Mersal.

Vijay will be seen in two roles, as that of a father and son. While the father Vijay is touted to be a local gangster from North Chennai, the son Vijay is tipped to be the coach of the women's football team.

The movie also has Nayanthara in the lead. Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivek, Daniel Balaji, Varsha Bollamma and Anandraj are few other actors in the movie.
