Sukhu also highlighted the state's natural resources and geographical features as key advantages for tourism. "We are the lungs of Northern India. We are the water wall of Northern India. National Perspective on Hospitality Growth

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also addressed the gathering, stating that the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India worked for the development of the hotel industry, tourism growth, and related challenges over the past six years.

Shekhawat noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the progress of the Indian economy altered global perceptions of India, unlocking significant potential for the hospitality sector. He added that the hospitality sector stood positioned to make a substantial contribution to the national economy, with industry conventions in Kashi providing critical platforms to evaluate sector challenges, operational conditions, and technological shifts across the country.
