Srinagar: A portion of Dal Lake was frozen as the temperature dropped in the region. Locals living in the area resorted bonfires to beat the winter chill. The minimum temperature was recorded at -6.2 degree Celsius in Srinagar on December 29. North India is reeling under a cold wave, bringing life to a halt.
