Karnataka’s Vijayapura student to interact with PM Modi at Pariksha pe Charcha live event

Vijayapura: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual programme “Pariksha pe Charcha” in which he interacts with a cross-section of students from Class IX to XII and teachers and talks about beating exam stress, will be held on January 20, at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. Among the students selected to participate in this year’s Charcha, Karnataka students have made it to the list. For this year’s edition, the government had launched a short essay competition for the students of class IX and X and selected students to attend the PM’s programme. Shwetha Jalapura, a class X student from Hunshalaya PB village in Basavana Bagewadi taluk of Vijayapura district has been selected to interact with PM Modi at the programme. 15,000 students from across Karnataka gave the test and 45 were shortlisted to attend the programme. The selected students will undergo preparatory training in Bengaluru under the aegis of the Karnataka Comprehensive Education Institute on January 16 and attend the main event on January 20 in New Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
