Jalandhar: 3 coaches of express train catch fire

Jalandhar: Three coaches of Sarayu Jamuna Express train caught fire at Kartapur Railway Station, Jalandhar, on December 18. The incident occurred at 10:30 pm, when the train was heading to Amritsar.

Four fire tenders brought the fire under control in an hour. While the S2 coach was completely burnt, the S1 and S3 coaches were partially burnt.

According to reports, around 100 passengers occupied the three coaches.
