It seems that the high court order and BBMP rules do not matter to supporters of political leaders as they continue to deface the city for publicity. Ram Nayak, a supporter of Congress MLA NA Haris had put out cutouts wising his son Mohammed Nalapad on his birthday on January 31. Now the BBMP has filed a complaint and an FIR has been registered in this regard.

The BBMP and Bengaluru Police have cracked the whip on a Congress supporter for defying high court order and putting up illegal posters and cutouts. An FIR has been filed against Ram Nayak for go against the rules and putting cutouts of Mohammed Nalapad, son of Shanthinagar MLA NA Haris.

Following complaints from public about an event being organised to celebrate the birthday of Nalapad on January 31 at the public ground in mayor Gautham Kumar's ward, Jogupalaya, the BBMP higher officials sent engineers. Upon arriving at the spot, the engineers witnessed huge cutouts. The officials removed the cutouts and an FIR was later filed against Ram Nayak.

Dr Basavaraj Magi, BBMP assistant revenue officer of Domlur sub-division says, he also enquired with MLA Haris and was informed that both the MLA and his son did not know about the development.

To shame such publicity hungry people and also those who defy the BBMP, officials removed the cutouts from the spot and made this act go viral on social media.
