Beware: Your wireless keyboard is easy to hack

Hackers are getting smarter by the day. From emails to social media accounts, they have sneaked into the entire virtual world. Now it is the time for your hardware to fall prey to them.

Yes, if you have a wireless keyboard, it is time for you to be alert. In fact, your system may have been compromised already.

Keep in mind; Internet security is only as strong as the weakest link available to a hacker. Your wireless keyboards just might be that weak link. 

The Internet security agency of Bastille has released a report which claims that 'low-cost wireless keyboards were massively vulnerable' to a hacker attack on your system.

The report called these hackers "KeySniffers".

Based far away from you, KeySniffers can quickly identify your strokes on the keyboard and can also guess your ATM’s cards numbers, CVV numbers and other bank details.

Not only this, but KeySniffers can also know the 'secret question' to your accounts and the answers to it.

Eight out of ten keyboards were found vulnerable to KeySniffer attacks, said the report.

If we go by the report, the only take away is—it doesn’t matter if you have a Toshiba or a Hewlett-Packard’s wireless keyboard—your private information is quite likely compromised.
