With Rs 80 lakh as highest domestic salary, IIT Roorkee has received 272 offers in day 1 of placements

This year, IIT Roorkee has seen a rise in their pre-placement offers (from 139 to 153) and the domestic salary from an Indian company. Read on to find out.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has received 272 offers on the first day of the placement. It has also got the highest domestic salary from an Indian company. Previous year it was Rs 60 lakh, now it has risen to Rs 80 lakh. A total number of 1,373 applicants have registered themselves for placement this year from IIT.
Though they have received international offers, they haven't unveiled the amount. But, claimed to get more from the International firms. 25 companies (Flipkart, Jaguar Land Rover, JP Morgan, Amazon, Analog Devices, Uber, etc.) have already interviewed the batches into two slots. Though it is unclear which firms made the most out it, there will be more rounds of placements.
Because of the global pandemic, most of the institutes has gone online, so did IIT Roorkee.
