Ennu Ninte Moideen director makes a ludicrous comment against Dileep

Synopsis

Vimal had said that Dileep took revenge by paying ₹30 lakh for the organisation and asked Kanchanamala to give it back Kanchanamala said that director's opinion is his own and she has nothing to say about that She also asked not to drag her or Moideen Seva Mandir into the dispute

It seems Ennu Ninte Moideen director R S Vimal  is now trying to rake up publicity by raising allegations against actor Dileep, who was arrested in the actress attack case. For this the director dragged in Kanchanamala and Moideen, the real life characters of his movie.

His ludicrous comment against Dileep claimed that the actor was taking revenge by donating ₹30 lakh for the construction of Moideen Seva Mandir. He even went to the extent of saying that Kanchanamala, the lover of the late Moideen who is managing the Mandir, should return the money.

It seems Kanchanamala, who sacrificed her life for love, has not suffered enough. She is known as an icon of true love across Kerala after her love story with Moideen became popular.

Kanchanamala responded that she does not want to get involved in the Dileep issue. "I have nothing to say about this. Don't drag me or Moideen Seva Mandir into this controversy. Vimal said his opinion and not mine. I am not interested to speak about this," she said.

The director, during a interview with a Malayalam TV channel, had said that he had actually planned to cast Dileep and Kavya as the lead characters in Ennu Ninte Moideen. The director alleged that a lie by Dileep spoiled the casting plans. Incidentally, that lack of star power did not affect the film, since it went on to become a major blockbuster.

The director further said that neither he nor Prithviraj, who played the role of Moideen in the movie, took money from the producer - though the film made ₹6 crore. He also said that the producer should give some amount for the functioning of Seva Mandir and Kanchanamala should return the fund given by Dileep.

It is true that Dileep was arrested in actress abuse case, but he is not yet convicted. There are chances that the case against the actor might fall apart. He indeed deserves the benefit of doubt and it is not the time to take advantage of someone's situation to make silly claims.
