In a surprising development, those who were at the centre of power in Congress, have been shunned out of ministries, whereas those who joined the party recently have been given two portfolios to handle. These developments have created a furore out of Raj Bhavan, where the new ministers are set to take oath at 2.12 PM today.

Accordingly, JD(S) rebel Zameer Ahmed Khan, who joined Congress recently allegedly has been given Wakf Board and Food and Civil Supplies ministry. Whereas, MB Patil, who was instrumental in getting Lingayat support has not been given any ministry.

This has made Patil as well as his supporters angry. One of his supporters even tried to consume poison in front of Raj Bhavan as he was disappointed that his leader was not considered for any ministry. But interestingly,

Amidst rumours of resignation, MB Patil said that he will take a decision after speaking to the top Congress leaders.

Kundgol Congress MLA CS Shivalli is also said to be disappointed as his name was not finalised for any ministry.

Though the portfolios have not been finalised yet, here is the list of Congress MLAs who will become the ministers.

JD(S)

According to the latest report, in JD(S) DC Thammanna's name is being finalised by the party for a ministry.

Here is the list of 8 ministers from JD(S).
