Not opposed to IT raid but the time and intention of raid is wrong says CM Siddaramaiah

Synopsis

I am not against Income Tax raids but the time and intention of ride is wrong, said CM. Such developments are new to a federal system of governance. The raid is politically motivated. For the first time CRPF soldiers are utilised instead of local police. We are not aware of what was the find of the raid.

“I am not against Income Tax raids but the time and intention of raid is wrong and the present raid is totally a political vendetta” said the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, reported Kannada Prabha.

Speaking to newspersons on Friday the Chief Minister said such developments are new to a federal system of governance.  The raid is politically motivated. I am not against IT raid but I am against the time and intention of raid, he said.

For the first time CRPF soldiers are utilised instead of local police. We are not aware of what was the find of the raid.  Why were CRPF soldiers used for raid? Why was the raid held at the resort? It is political vendetta, CM said.
