The second pre university marks cards that were issued 2 months late are found to be full of mistakes, reported Kannada Prabha.
The second pre university students who had passed out and got admitted to degree courses were given a grace time of 2 months to submit their marks cards. The Pre-university Board though delayed issuing the marks cards by 2 months has not been able to provide error free marks cards. In some marks cards the name of the principals and students are entered wrong. In some cards factual errors like Kannada medium documented as English medium are seen.
The students are very angry with such mistakes. Talking to Kannada Prabha they expressed their anger asking how could the Board make mistakes in writing the students and principal’s names. A principal of a college in south Bengaluru said the number of students who had passed out of their college is 307. Of them marks cards of 40 students are full of factual errors, including names. Earlier the Hall Tickets were also full of mistakes. When the college requested the Board to correct the mistakes it was told that it is okay if the Hall Tickets have mistakes they will be corrected in marks cards. Now, the marks cards also have mistakes, how do we correct this, the principal asked.
