Gauri Lankesh case: Chargesheet filed by SIT, Naveen Kumar named key accused

Special Investigation Team (SIT) has filed its chargesheet in the case before the Ist Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court
While it was earlier reported that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) will file its chargesheet in the case before the Ist Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court, they have filed a 661-page chargesheet naming Naveen Kumar as the key accused on Wednesday, May 30.
Naveen is the only person who has been arrested for assisting the killers. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) will also arrest Praveen alias Sujith, hailing from Shivamogga district, as the second accused.
According to the chargesheet, Praveen conducted a recce of Gauri's house and also shared details with shooters.
Journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh was shot dead at her Rajarajeshwari Nagar residence on September 5, 2017.
